[X Newbies] Splitting Panther among partition & disks?

Very cool idea. Pogue does mention that in his book. It looked a little 
over-my-head when I called it up. But I am sure there is a way. Now 
this gives me all sorts of ideas about using Other Users for different 
jobs.
