Not for VueScan, but that's fairly expensive. I'm not using Canon on 
Macs, only on PCs, where it works tolerably well. On Macs I use Epson 
scanners; their software is no great shakes, but it isn't as brain-dead 
as Canon's and it includes a TWAIN driver.
