Entourage forgetting settings

In one of my Entourage mail accounts every new piece of mail is 
assigned as " investment category", including junk mail.  I have thrown 
out preferences/gone through the rules/reassigned categories, but still 
all new mail is categorized as "investments".  I checked Enable Junk 
Mail Filter, set it for high,  I wrote a rule stating that junk mail 
should downloaded as "read".  Anyone have a suggestion that might fix 
this account?
