There is an old OS 9 tool, MEdit <http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macos/2815&mode=feedback>, which may function in Classic (I've never tried). It was a little rough around the edges but it did edit MP3 files directly. Save often. Or just use iTunes to break it up: ===== At 1:11 PM +1200 6/1/03, HM wrote: "In iTunes you can edit a song's start time and end time then use the convert to mp3 option . You can use this for different portions of the same song by renaming the song you are converting each time . You can then put these together by opening the mp3s up in a text editor then doing a copy paste of em all ." Or use QuickTime Pro... Or import into iMovie, break it up, then output to MP3... Or search for applications similar to StreamRipper, which will "detect" the pauses between songs and split the output accordingly.
