Sorry, matblack, I felt I was responding in kind to a less than helpful comment when I asked a simple question. It has always been legal to record broadcast material for personal use. I've done it since the days of reel-to-reel, usually for material that isn't available in stores on this continent. [We're not talking Britney and Justin, fergawdsake!] Nothing in my original post suggested I had other intentions, yet you chose to hop on your soapbox. I have spent close to six figures on licensed software since 1986, and I wince when I think of the money shelled out for vinyl and CDs in my lifetime. You picked the wrong guy to lecture.
