It's not real intuitive but, here's the deal.
Log into your .Mac account through the Apple web site, go into 
Mail>Preferences and delete the unwanted pic, then add the one that you 
want to use. Make sure you do all the steps, selecting the photo,  
upload it, apply the changes.
