I must confess this is completely mystifying.
I have enabled the root user, I have run the scripts, I have trashed
everything by hand... and I still get the "newer software" installed
warning... meaning I cannot install the correct version.
Has anyone by chance installed this thing and found it useful? I'd like
to know before I continue with the hassle of sorting this out.
