[X-Newbies] Patch for Vista scan for X ?

We need more info:
How is the scanner connected to the machine, built in SCSI or add on card
for example. Version of X 10.1, 10.2 or 10.3. Type of machine you're using
etc.

I has a Umax scanner attached via an Orange Micro Grappler+ SCSI/Serial
card. It needed a driver update for the card to work under 10.2. I got a
similar error message when I tried to use it. The card is unsupported under
10.3 so I had to dump both.

Todays Quickie:
We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull,
some have weird names, and all are different colors....
but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
