[X-Newbies] LaserWriter 8500 on OS 10.3.5

Having difficulty with my LaserWriter 8500 now that
I've installed OS 10.3.5. When I go to add my printer
through the dialog box, it looks very promising...my
printer is there in the list, but when I select it,
this is the message that I get:

An error occurred while trying to add the selected
printers.

Server - error - service - unavailable

Does this mean that I no longer have a printer, or is
there just a driver that I am missing?
