If you have iDVD 5, it has broadened the choice for DVD's to more formats: http://www.apple.com/ilife/. If you have the older iDVD version, you should use DVD-R/DVD-Rw. You must appear very intelligent; or maybe you were wearing your Apple t-shirt to give the guy ahead of you a clue that you use a Mac.
