I think this whole anti-virus business is something where you pays your money etc. Your logic is impeccable but if I was a business where data protection and security was vital, I think I might install an AV program however flawed the logic. If everything went pear shaped and I got sued I could at least argue that I had taken all reasonable precautions. :-) It's coming up to 12 months since I got Virus Barrier (at the instruction of the Uni's systems admin) and so far it's turned up precisely zero. OTOH I don't roam the Warez sites or use Kazaa or Bit torrent, so maybe I'm less at risk than some. cheers, Chris
