Are you saying you still have problems after installing Java Update for 
Mac OS X v10.3.9?

No. I was saying you should not install QT 7 until you are sure you 
have solved your other problem. Additionally, QT7Pro requires a new 
licence key, hence, if you depend on QT6Pro, you shouldn't upgrade 
unless you are prepared to shell out the QT tax.
