[X-Newbies] Top posing in mail?

     This is to notify list members that the amount of energy  
expended by all participants on this thread thus far exceeds the  
amount of energy it takes for 1,999 Mac users to scroll down all  
messages on 32 mailing lists for a period of three years.

     It must be therefore concluded that some other motivation than  
convenience or ease motivates this thread.
