Yes.  I normally run as user but was doing the update and maintenance as
admin which is where I first noticed the problem.  Logging in as user
produced the same.

Checking the Apple boards suggests that others have had the same problem
with 4.6.  First time I have had a problem - updated the G5 with no
trouble - but I failed to do a fresh  backup of the PBk.  Serves me right :-)
