[X-Newbies] Web site url won't load

I get redirected from the home address to 
<http://www.vanguard.com/VGApp/hnw/CorporatePortal>.

The entirety of the content at http://www.vanguard.com is as follows:

...so it's a redirect with a relative address. I don't know why your 
Safari chokes on it though.
