I've always bought from a dealer.  Main reason is they are competitive
on price and are easily accessible if anything goes wrong.  The Apple
stores here in the UK are very good on service and will price match if
need be, but I've not seen anything which would make me move from my
local dealer.

All things being equal, go with whichever is most convenient.
