[X-Newbies] Printing problems with my HP

Hi All
I have an HP 1320 laser printer that I use with my iBook on 10.4.4.
I started a print but at the last minute then decided to cancel my print
because I had left off some vital info.
After that I just cant print any more.
I get a dialogue box to say that the printer is stopped. I press start but
after a few seconds it goes back to being stopped.
I have tried to chuck out some preferences but that is not helping.
In the Print utility setup, I have tried to reset printing system but that
has not helped either.
I have reloaded the printer driver from the supplied HP CD and also repaired
the disk permissions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
