Hello Al
WeÕve got to stop meeting like this - folks are going
to start to talk <smile>
But itÕs a good question... and it brings up a
question or two that I have - so maybe you can solve
it for me.
As you may or may not know I have this manufacturerÕs
representative agency (small but growing) and I
recently pick up a new client whoÕs web-site is not
Safari friendly. Nor is it Camino friendly. It does
however open on my dadÕs PS using you got it IE. So in
my primitive mind set I figured I needed to get a copy
of IE so I could deal with my client. By the way this
client deals in browser software - go figure <grin>
Anyway after all my trouble IE still doesnÕt open the
clientÕs site - just endless white space.
So maybe I should pick up a copy of Firefox and see
what happens I used it before and it worked well but
somehow I appreciate a browsers what was developed for
the MAC - call me old fashioned!
Is there something I need to tell the client they need
to add to make their site more accessible us MAC folks
- after all we are a growing breed these days
If you got a moment google www.rtmsoft.com and let me
know if Firefox does the job. By the way I generally
have ÒBlock Pop-up turn on would that make a
different?
And have you checked out the latest version of
NeoOffice - itÕs for real!
Have a great weekend and a doable week...
Rich
PS - Have you see or hear from Bruce Johnson from our
days on the G3 list of late - was wonder if heÕs still
holding court over there or has he finally moved on
and up to G4Õs?
