Carol,
Well if you have a machine with a separate monitor (like say a G3, G4
or G5) then you need to buy a USB 2.0 card and install it.
If you have an "all in one" machine (iBook, PowerBook, eMac, iMac,
etc.) then you can't without upgrading to a new machine that will
come with USB 2.0 built in.
