This is a bogus story concocted by lazy tech writers based on old  
information.

But don't take my word for it -- visit the quoted support article  
yourself and notice that it says MODIFIED in Dec 2008. The original  
article is actually YEARS older.

As Randy said, this is a standard CYA article and nothing new should  
be read into it except that tech writers need to learn some basic  
journalism skills.
