Update Admin Tools failed on 10.2.3 client

I just tried to install the Update for the OS X Server Admin Tools on my
TiBook running 10.2.3. I originally installed the Admin Tools from the CD
that came with our Xserve (came with 10.2.1 Server) with no Problem and the
tools are in their standard location (/Applications/Utilities).

The installer stops and tells me:

"You cannot install this software on this disk. This volume does not meet
the requirements for this update."

I wonder whether the installer expects to see OS X Server as OS which would
be ridiculous. 

Any ideas?
