[X-Unix] Question about the latest security updates

just what exactly is the 'exploit' doing on your machine?

i even tried sending destructive command through the so-called 
exploit...  nothing.

i tried non-destructive exploits too...  nada

and this was all BEFORE i ran any security patches.
