WooHoo!!! Just what I was looking for.

Actually, this link is for the C version, so I'm starting with the 
shell version (which is linked to on that page), but I'm working 
closely with someone who does know C programming very well, so I'll end 
up having him write the bridge in C to speed it up in the long run.
