   Hey, now, I have the same G3 iMac he does at my house, and I can
sympathize. (I got him more RAM, since that kind of swapping is
something no one wants.)
   I'm also cleaning off my old PB 1400 before getting rid of it, and
using a current wireless card on that under OS 8.6 is a surprisingly
not-awful experince. :7)
