Running 10.3.5 on an 8500 upgraded with 300 mhz G3 and 444 meg RAM. Also, an old FireWireDirect Firewire/USB card, like version 1.0. Two SCSI hard drives, the original 2 gig and an 8 gig. I got a Radeon 32meg PCI card.(Run PCI Extreme) and get most of the "effects". Web server/file server and main machine when I am home. Use apple USB mouse but original keyboard (been in the shower with me twice now). The "god" Ryan wrote XpostFacto, up to 3. something now. That is the key to enabling your 10.3. install. Ryan is extremely approachable and typically responds quickly. Works fine for what I need. Get speed envy at the Apple store, but, been operating almost eight nearly continuous years (reboot only for updates). As long as you don't do too much (more than three jobs at a time) I can tolerate the speed. 40 mhz system bus isn't the fastest. Good luck, Ed
