[X-Unix] terminal/unix AFP commands

are there any commands that can "explore" an AFP server?

I've looked at mount_afp, but I have a server that has different  
volumes being shared and different times.

Are there any commands that can return the options of mountable  
volumes?  and howabout whether guest access is on? or what the name  
of the sever is?

These are all things you can ascertain when connecting to a server  
through the finder.
