Such things can happen too with a lot of swap files allocated (> 1 GB): at shut-down Mac OS X never finishes to free the allocated disk space. And since your tcsh script went into what's the street address of Apple (Infinite Loop) it allocated quite some swap space. -- Greetings Pete
