Interestingly, KisMAC has a beta out with passive support for Airport Extreme. I have no idea why there is no information or any kind of discussion on the KisMAC web site as to these betas. link to the beta:x- http://binaervarianz.de/downloads.php/redir.html? action=download&mirror=http&file_id=36 (also see: ftp://ftp.tu-ilmenau.de/pub/software/binaervarianz) This beta - R75 - was released 20050825 One problem with the beta is that the driver doesn't always load or unload correctly. I've heard a report that moving /System/Library/Extensions/ AppleAirport2.kext on boot will make KisMAC's replacement driver load correctly. You'd have to move it back to get your card to work normally again, though. I've heard that some people don't have that problem... I didn't. Of course, I expect support to be much better for a real release... but this means that it's possible and being worked on! - Micah
