This list is for discussing Unix & the command-line on Mac OS X; if  
you're a Windows user then think "the people reading this list are  
only interested in using the DOS window" (although the Unix  
environment is far more powerful).

You would be better posting this sort of question to the "OS X For  
Users" list, x4u at listserver.themacintoshguy.com but beware that many  
subscribers there will not be familiar with ACT if it is a Windows- 
only program, so I might advise you to ask something like "can anyone  
recommend a program for undertaking $GENERIC_TASK; is there a  
Macintosh version of ACT?"
