Sandisk USB Low power notice

Hello,

When I plug in a "Scandisk USB Cruzer Mini" flash drive I get an 
Information dialog with the following message:
      "USB Low Power Notice"

What does this mean?

Also, the disk does not show up in the Disk Utility GUI.

Any solutions?

Note: The flash drive is pluged into the Apple keyboard's USB port.

Note: The host is a G4 Cube so the direct USB port on the computer is 
difficult to access.

Note: My Soyo Cigar Pro USB Flash Drive works very well when plugged 
into the Apple Keyboard.
