Hi Paul, Perhaps this experience can help: I'm now using 10.3.6 on a PowerBook Pismo (wireless) and I have another iMac G3 (10.2.8) connected to a network, which in turn is connected to an Apple LaserWriter 8500. After I installed the 8500 printer in Panther, I could not print from Pismo. The printer prints fine in Jaguar. My 8500 has an IP address assigned to it. After fumbling about in Printer Setup Utility in Panther, I deleted the 8500 and re added it. I then found out my mistake: I added the printer using the "IP Printing" tab. Solution: I readded the printer using the "LPR/LPD" tab. Then I added the same network IP address that I assigned to the printer originally. Then it worked! Don't ask me why 'IP Printing' didn't work for me. I thought that was the most logical choice. HTH. -- Best, Mark [In Singapore] Running with PowerBook 400, OSX, Palm Tungsten W
