Jim, The experience varies greatly on your 'net connection, so you might have a better chance at another time. Buddy list me if you want to try another connection sometime. I've convinced my brother in law in the Netherlands to get a used iBook and iSight for just this purpose, and it has worked well, although I understand the moving target a child makes for the camera.
