I knew it could be done somewhere, I just didn't know where and it 
didn't think it was so easy.

I'm sorry I don't have a solution for your problem, except maybe get 
off of digest. I used to use digest to cut down on the clutter in my in 
box. But now I just filter list messages into a separate folder and 
organize by thread.
