My wife is under 30.  When we got married a few years ago, she had 
about 3-4x the number of LP's that I did.  So far I've inherited two 
record collections and an 8-Track tape collection because I'm the one 
in the family that likes the older music (so does my wife).  We've 
also added almost two shelves worth of LP's on our own.

Needless to say, the 8-Track collection is the one I'm the most 
interested in getting portions of copied to CD.
