[X4U] problem turning off iPhoto

I have a G3 iBook with 10.3.5 installed. I used iPhoto to import some 
images from my digital camera via a USB card reader. Seems to work 
nicely but I don't want it to work at all. So my question is how do I 
tell iPhoto to not launch when I mount one of my compact flash cards? I 
tried going to the cd/dvd system preference file and choosing 'ignore' 
for when inserting a picture CD. Is there a setting somewhere else for 
this?
