Hello: I had a somewhat similar problem with different network/application/operating system, and it boiled down to the MTU size being too large for some TCP/IP transactions. Is the network traffic encapsulated in a VPN, or otherwise encrypted? If so, you might need to lower the MTU. Don't know if this applies to your problem, though. dZ.
