I personally like it the way it is now (Panther), but from what I saw in the screenshot that Mr. Thurrot offered of the new Mail.app in Tiger, the drawer is completely gone, and the buttons and toolbars are different (although I don't see them as "bizarre", like Mr. Thurrot claims), along with the new "plastic" look. I'm not saying that changing the UI is inherently wrong; I applaud Apple for constantly trying to improve their designs. But what I find strange is that Apple would change so drastically the UI of one app and not others. Is this really what happened? dZ.
