 From the MacWindows.com site:

"Among the new cross-platform features Apple has announced for the 
client version: ...

VPN support for both PPTP and L2TP/IPSec. Apple says the VPN client "is 
compatible with most popular VPN servers, including those from Cisco 
and Microsoft."
