For home, you can also use a non-apple base station. Any current wireless router will work, (as long as it says 802.11b or 802.11g. ) The only gotcha would be 802.11a. There are very few of those. You could also look for anything that says Wi-Fi. That would also work. /mhb Matthew Barr Managing Partner Datalyte Consulting, LLC Apple Authorized Reseller mailto:mbarr at datalyte.com cell: (646) 765-6878 On Apr 19, 2005, at 10:54 AM, Eddie Hargreaves wrote: > You will need an AirPort Extreme card in your iBook to access your > school's > wireless network and also any hotspots > http://www.apple.com/airportextreme/hotspots.html > > If you want to access a wireless network at home, you'll need to > create one > using either an AirPort Extreme base station or an AirPort Express. > http://www.apple.com/airportextreme/home.html > > > On 4/19/05 7:31 AM, Jorge Domingos <jdomingos at proinbox.com> wrote: > >> I want to connect to the Internet mainly at my school wireless >> network, >> also HotSpots and maybe at my home.
