Actually, the same person mentioned both. ffmpeg lets you mangle video file format (like convert the audio in .avi files so they will play in quicktime) and mplayer plays video files (and streaming video). mplayer also lets you save the video stream during playback. That way you have a file. When I get home this evening I will see if I can save the stream you mentioned. > On Apr 26, 2005, at 12:55 PM, Neil wrote: > >> By the way, I viewed the page source and found this line: >> >>> <embed src="video/connect.mov" width="128" height="32" >>> autoplay="true" controller="false" >>> pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/" >>> href="http://www.dancebeatinternational.com/usdsc/09082200.mov" >>> target="quicktimeplayer"> >>> </object></div> >>> </td> >>> >>> >> Does that help? _______________________________________________ >> X4U mailing list >> X4U at listserver.themacintoshguy.com >> http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/x4u >> >> Listmom is trying to clean out his closets!
