[X4U] Movie to DVD

Original camera was Sony 8MM Digital. The only way she able to export from
the 8MM into the computer was using a Microsoft movie program that creates a
wmv file.

Sony-supplied software purports to go to DVD, but it never worked with the
tape and an HP DVD burner. HP software also not compatible with the Sony
tape.

No computer solution in sight, which is unfortunate because she did
substantial editing in the Microsoft program.

I do appreciate all the feedback and assistance.
