[X4U] Keychain deletion -

Question:
Can I just click on the "Reset my Keychain" option in the preferences  
and have my apps recreate the corresponding entries?  If so, will  
this have *ANY* effects on my own Account (Sys. Admin account)  
concerning passwords, etc.  I would hate to log off and not get back  
into my own account because of this reset?  Or it not obtaining some  
kind of setting that is no longer there.  HELP!!
