[X4U] Upgrading to Tiger?

hello zane
i was perfectly happy with 10.3 (even 10.2 i think…) so upgrading to  
tiger wasn't that important. so why did i do it? i got tiger for free  
from my university here in zürich!

would i have paid $130 dollars for spotlight & major improvements in  
mail? i don't think so, i would have waited until i got a new  
powerbook (which i eventually did) that had it included. since i was  
perfectly happy with 10.3.9, the "behind the scenes" improvements  
(what are they anyway?) were secondary to me.
