XPress does respect the Command-H as the Hide command. It's right there in the menu. The LiveKeys is a third-party XTension, not part of XPress, and it would only interfere with Command-H if the user specifically programs something else into that key combo. They have hijacked the Hide command, and you've got to use Shift Command H instead. As has been mentioned before, if you've also Hidden the Finder, the last app showing cannot also Hide.
