[X4U] Crash-O-Matic

this morning, I started getting lots of beachball time from Safari,  
iOrganize, Text Edit..\
I ran the battery of Onyx scripts..cleaning, maintenence, etc.

Now, my IRC app, colloquoy, can not run: I launch, it quits. Trashing  
prefs no help.

Any thoughts? I leave my mac running 24/7, so I know the cron tasks  
can run when they're scheduled to..
