[X4U] Weird iPhoto problem

I don't remember doing anything to this application or the pics that 
are supposed to be displayed, but, all of a sudden upon launching and 
loading the pics in display in generic jpgs...If I select one and hit 
the edit button the pic appears as normal...whussup?...anybody have 
this same problem.

G4 800 OSX10.3.9 iPhoto 2.0.1
