[X4U] Deleting multiple locked items

I tried it, and got this result:

These files are on a jump drive.  I think that is the complication.  I 
tried dragging them to the trash while holding option...but it doesn't 
work for me.  The option key solution works once they are in the 
trash...but I can't get them there!

Any tips?
