I bought a brand new HP LaserJet 5MP in '96, and I'm still using it. I think I've gone through two cartridges (and most of that was thanks to other people printing). One cartridge is good for something like 5,000-6,000 pages. 3+ years ago I got a HP DeskJet 960c dirt cheap through work, and I was never very happy with it, and hardly used it. I need to buy new Ink for it, and have actually been threatening to get an Epson to replace it. At the same time, I have to wonder if it's worth the cost and if I wouldn't be better off simply outputting whatever I want to print in colour to a PDF and taking it down to the local Kinko's or some other similar outfit, and having them print it out on a high quality printer. Of course the last time I did that was quite a few years ago, and it took 15 minutes for each of the 4 pages to print :^) Zane -- -- | Zane H.
