Joe, like a few others, is guaranteeing that the e-mail actually came 
from him. If you're in Mail.app you can go to "View-->Message--> Raw 
Source and look at the digital signature. I would expect that more and 
more people will start using signed e-mail as it becomes easier to 
install.
