I don't know the answer to your question. But it seems I've noticed an 
abundant amount of macs used in films and t.v. etc.  as well.

I think it was "Office Space" I was watching.. they show older looking 
PowerMac towers several times.. but when ever they showed a computer 
screen.. it seemed like a combination of macos and windows95 windows or 
something.. it was strange looking.
